We’re an independent Baptist church with Jesus at the centre of our life together.
We’re passionate about helping people find and follow him. We get to know one another, open the Bible together and share in the everyday life of faith.
Teylu is a Cornish word, pronounced “Tay-loo,” meaning “family.” Our name reflects our desire to follow Jesus, grow together and care for the community around us.
Some of us come as families, some on our own. Whether church feels familiar or entirely new, we’d love to get to know you.
Meet our pastor
Pastor Kolin Hendrix
Kolin Hendrix pastors Teylu Baptist Church.
He moved to Wadebridge in 2024 from Texas, USA. Before moving to Wadebridge, he served on staff at a church for six years as its youth and music minister.
Pastor Kolin normally preaches on Sundays, helping us understand passages of the Bible and how they apply to our lives.
