A LITTLE ABOUT OUR NAME

Teylu (Tay-loo)

A Cornish word meaning “family.”

At Teylu Baptist Church, family is more than just our name. We’re a church family following Jesus, growing together, and caring for the community around us.

Some of us come as families, some on our own. Whether church feels familiar or entirely new, we’d love to get to know you.

Experience community.Understand truth.Find purpose.

At the heart of Teylu

Jesus is why we gather.

The Christian faith centres on Jesus and the good news of the gospel.

Our purpose is to help people find and follow him. The Bible shapes our preaching and gives us something to explore together, whether faith is familiar to you or you’re just beginning to ask questions.

What We Believe

Your questions are welcome here.

Everyone has questions. Whether they’re about God, the Bible, Christianity, life, or something else, come and ask. Whatever your question may be, we’d be glad to look together at what the Bible says.
